Abstract: The development of acute myeloid leukemia (AML) concomitantly
or after Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL) without treatment, is highly uncommon. The pathophysiology
of the development of this entity is uncertain. The teatment of AML should be prioritized because this pathology
will mark prognosis in such patients. We report a case of a male 79 years patient with a diagnosis of typical
CLL in December 2012 with subsequent diagnosis of AML, in which was decided hypomethylating treatment because his age and comorbidities.
