Abstract: We report a 55 years old male admitted for a right orbital
mass associated with bilateral axillary and inguinal limphadenopathy, mild anemia and thrombocytopenia. Bone marrow biopsy showed a blast infiltration greater to 90% of total cellularity with a lymphoid phenotype. Flow cytometry of orbital mass and marrow samples showed 2 clonal lymphoid populations: a predominant one, more immature with greater cells expressing CD19+, CD20+/-, CD10++, CD79a cit+, μ cit- and another smaller clon with more mature and smaller lymphocytes CD19+, CD20++, CD10+, CD5-,μ cit +, λ++.
Final pathologic diagnosis was a B lymphoblastic lymphoma with orbital and bone marrow involvement.
