Practice management of antiplatelet

Abstract: Antiplatelet therapy management is a frequent haematology
physicians’ practice in which general guides,
based in publications of many scientific studies,
are taken into account. Such as the ones given by
American Heart Association, American College of
Cardiology, European Cardiology Society, American
College of Chest Physicians (ACCP) and other
important ones.
Traditional agents and new antiplatelet drugs are
classified bringing guidelines on therapy indications
and preventive actions as well as on those cases
where it is necessary to perform bridging therapy
owing to a surgery or other invasive procedures related
to acute coronary syndrome, vascular-brain
events, and peripheral artery disease.
